Today’s blog post is an extended transcript of my presentation The Cloud Platform Play presented at JAX 2013 which deals with with three major topics:

1. developers (as the primary users of PaaS),
2. cloud platforms (as a means to make software development more agile and cost efficient),
3. getting started (as a call to action to get familiar with PaaS).

I thought it may be a good idea to make (parts of) my own presentation public as I truly feel that SAP NetWeaver Cloud (aka NEO) is taking it to the next level.

One of the questions the SAP Mentors get to hear a lot is "So, how does one become a SAP Mentor?" or more bluntly - from those who do not know better - "Where can I get such a shirt?"
